CoolSideQuests started as a simple idea: instead of scrolling when you're bored, why not have a list of actual things to go do instead? Not chores. Not self-improvement homework. Just genuinely fun, tiny, real-life "quests" — the kind of stuff worth screenshotting and actually doing.
In video games, a side quest is an optional adventure you take outside the main story. We stole that idea for real life. Your regular day is the main story. These are the random little adventures you choose to do on the side.
The list mixes solo missions, things to do with friends, free ideas, five-minute ideas, and whole-day adventures. Some are silly. Some are weirdly ambitious ("visit every park in your city"). All of them beat another hour of doomscrolling.
Brought to you by a valid teen and a cool-enough dad who were fr over the whole "there's nothing to do" vibe.
